REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS oUS Citizen oMust be at least 21 years of age oHigh School Diploma or GED oValid driver's license oMust be able to pass an initial background check, drug test, and physical/fit for duty exam oPossess or be able to attain State of Alaska Armed Security Guard license before starting work oCandidates with current Security Clearance are highly encouraged to apply REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE All Security Officers assigned to FAA facilities must meet one (1) or more of the following requirements for
Experience:
1.
Three (3) years of security experience within the past five (5) years OR 2.
Associate Degree in a related field plus one (1) year of experience OR 3.
Three (3) years of military experience (active, reserve or National Guard either be currently serving or have been honorably discharged) OR 4.
Successful completion of a State certified Police Officer's Standard Training (POST)certification course OR 5.
