com/careers/alaska/jobs/4315201/administrative-assistant-3-090059 This position coordinates, directs and performs the daily operations of the Alaska Army National Guard (ARNG) Distributed Learning Program to achieve the Adjutant General's training and readiness objectives for ARNG state and federal missions.
This position exists to support the mission of the agency by providing overarching administrative coordination and acts as the focal point to ensure the availability and functionality of the Distributed Learning facilities in addition to carrying out troubleshooting, travel, financial management, logistics, training, procurement and inventory.
As this position is responsible for overseeing all operational functions for the DLP, we are seeking a dynamic individual who excels as a self-starter and demonstrates a high level of initiative in task execution.
The ideal candidate will also possess a strong inclination for information technology, ensuring the efficient and effective management of DLP operations.
The Administrative Assistant 3 position works independently under the general supervision of the Administrative Officer 2 and as part of a small but dedicated team of state and federal employees to provide administrative and technical support to the Distributed Learning Program throughout the State of Alaska.
This position contributes important and challenging work directing, coordinating, and performing daily operations in support of the seven Alaska Army National Guard Distributed Learning Classrooms:
JBER, Alcantra, Bethel, Juneau, Kenai, Fairbanks, and Fort Greely.
