Post supply status and receipt information to the activity register.
Receives, stores, and issues various materials.
Physically inventory materials by inventory documentation in conjunction with requirements for supply activities.
Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages of stored materials.
Routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
Constructing and repairing boxes, pallets, and wood bracing to be used in shipping and storage, as needed.
Sorting, categorizing, receiving, and issuing equipment to customers.
Other duties as assigned or related to the overall operation of the section/branch that the position is assigned to perform.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
Minimal of one-year experience utilizing the Global Combat Supply Support- Army (GCSS-A) are preferred.
An understanding of the needs of the organization/units serviced.
Must be proficient with Microsoft programs.
Ex.
Excel, Word, Access, Outlook.
Must have at least one-year experience working in Property Book or Supply Support Activity.
Must have knowledge of Army Regulations for Property and Supply.
Must have excellent communication skills and experience working with customers.
Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions to include intense heat, heavy wind, blowing sand, heavy rain, snow, and sleet.
Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Physical Demands Required to walk, stand, sit and move about the property for long periods of time.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment Indoor/Outdoor; exposure to external environmental conditions possible.
Noise level can range from minimal to intense.
Minimum Qualifications Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
High School Diploma.
Able to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently and can clearly and concisely communicate both orally and in writing.
Must have a State Driver's License, must be able to obtain a Govt.
Driver's License.
